Medical services can be found at a lot of places these days, but many of them are limited. Finding one that provides a lot of services and that can meet many of the needs of the whole family are rare. Even then, it may not always be convenient to go without taking off from work. The Silver Star Urgent Care medical office can help you with these needs.

Many Medical Services Provided

Even though we are an urgent care center, the Silver Star Urgent Care center is able to provide the same services as a regular doctor’s office – and many more. We provide care for common illnesses such as colds and flu. We can also diagnose and test for problems such as asthma, and help with ongoing treatment to ensure it is under control and regulated.

The Medical Doctors

All of the doctors in our medical office are board-certified. Some of them are specialists in such fields as pediatrics, geriatrics, and anyone in between, so that we can provide expert medical service to anyone who walks in our doors.

Diagnostic Equipment

When a deeper diagnosis is necessary, we have an x-ray machine in the office. This enables us to determine the extent of damage to the bones and joints when there has been an injury. We also have an EKG to help understand health issues with the heart.

Many different kinds of tests are also available. We provide tests for problems such as urinary tract infections, STD’s, and more.

Physicals

When you need a physical for school or work, we also provide them for you. Special physical exams can be provided for a TLC, the DOT, a Green Card, the Coast Guard and the Merchant Marines.

Emergency Services

If you or a family member has an emergency, the Silver Star Urgent Care center can provide for it. About the only thing that we cannot help with are life-threatening emergencies. Most anything else can be expertly treated here, including broken bones, fractures, sprains, open wounds, and burns. Some of our doctors have worked in emergency rooms before, enabling you to get the same treatment as you would in an ER.

When you need urgent care, we are an excellent alternative to a hospital’s emergency room. An ER is expensive, but we typically charge about half as much – for the same care. We also provide fast service, and you will not need to wait for hours to see a doctor.

Open Late

When you need to see a doctor after normal business hours – so you do not need to take off work – the Silver Star Urgent Care center is open from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm every day – seven days a week.

At the Silver Star Urgent Care center, we also welcome walk-ins. Our medical office does not require an appointment – and we will still give you fast medical attention. Our doctors are friendly and we care about you and your needs. We also accept most insurance policies, but suggest that you call in advance to be sure.
